Letter from Principal Young

Dear OLOL Families,

Our trimester ended last week and report cards are being sent home today.  Please spend 15 minutes reviewing your report card with your son or daughter.  Some questions that can lead to a discussion are:

  • Is this the grade you think you earned (can be positive or negative)?
  • What did you do to deserve this grade (can be positive or negative)?
  • What is your favorite subject at school?
  • What is your least favorite subject at school?
  • What are some accomplishments that you are most proud of?
  • What is something you might want to do differently the last trimester?

If you are attending spring conferences, these can be great talking points to have with teachers.  They would love to hear what our students' thoughts on school are.   The teachers can also give recommendations on what they can do in Trimester 3 to finish the school year on a strong note.

I hope that you all have a relaxing spring break next week.  I hope that you can spend a little bit of the week reconnecting as a family.  The support and structure of the family is so critical in academic success of students.  Quality family time strengthens the bonds that help all of us.

“Give me, Lord God, a watchful heart that no stray thought might distract me from you.  Give me a noble heart that no unworthy affection might pull me down.  Give me a just heart that will not be divided by any dark intention. Give me a strong heart that will not be broken by any tribulation. Give me a free heart that will not follow any violent desire. Give me, Lord God, a mind to know you, diligence to see you, wisdom to find you, a life to please you, perseverance to wait faithfully for you and the trust that  will finally embrace you” - St. Thomas Aquinas

Educating in mind, body, and spirit,

Jeffrey Young

Tuition Tax credit

Tuition tax credit information is available to GRACE families online via GRACE’s enrollment management system, TADS. The TADS Household Paid Tuition Tax Report will provide a breakdown of payments made for the specified household’s tuition account during the tax year.

When gathering information for tax preparation, GRACE families are to access their TADS account | select Billing | Billing Account Number | Reports | Household Paid Tuition Tax Report | enter the tax year (i.e. 2022) and submit.

This year, a quick link also appears at the Billing Accounts – Tuition & Fees screen to access the Household Paid Tuition Tax Report.

If you have questions or require assistance, please call TADS Family Support at (800) 477-8237 or GRACE at (920) 499-7330, option 2.

Share the word about GRACE education with your friends and family, and be a part of building our strong, faith-based community.

GRACE participates in the Wisconsin Parental Choice Program (WPCP), also known as Choice or the School Voucher Program.

Spanish Placement Exam

If you know that you would like your son/daughter to start in Spanish I, he/she should NOT take the placement exam. Incoming freshmen interested in enrolling in Spanish II must take the placement exam.

The test will be offered on-site at NDA on Saturday, March 18, 2023 from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. We have a make-up test date: Wednesday, May 3, 2023, from 3:30-4:30 p.m.
