From Principal Nejedlo

Dear OLOL Families,

I hope you have had the opportunity to sign up for parent-teacher conferences next week! Conferences provide an important opportunity for us to come together to celebrate your child’s growth, discuss areas where they may need additional support, and work in partnership to help them continue to grow.

Over the past several weeks, our teachers have worked hard to get to know your children as both learners and individuals. They have reviewed STAR assessment data, along with other formal and informal assessments, to better understand each student’s strengths and needs. Teachers are using this information to provide targeted instruction, work with students in small groups, and meet students where they are in their learning.

As you prepare, consider any questions you may have, such as:

  • How is my child doing socially and emotionally?
  • What are my child’s strengths?
  • What skills or areas is my child currently working to improve?
  • How can I best support my child’s learning and growth at home?

Thank you for the important role you play in your child’s education and for partnering with us in their growth and success. We look forward to connecting with you, sharing what we have learned about your child, and working together to help them continue to grow academically, socially, and spiritually.

In partnership,

Jessica Nejedlo

Principal - OLOL
