Oh God, the Author of our life

Let every heart and every tongue
Rejoice for what Your hand has done
Help us to hear and heed your call
And bring us peace here at St. Paul

Head Cook for the School Needed
St. Paul will be in need of a head cook for the school lunch program starting Oct. 1, 2021. If you are interested in this position or know of someone who may, please contact the school office and ask to speak with Principal Lustila. Mrs. Heidi Schultz would like to help out in the transition process during the month of September. Mrs. Schultz will be leaving us to begin her new career as a full time grandmother! The school staff and its parents would like to thank her for all the wonderful lunches and freshly baked hamburger and cinnamon rolls throughout her years of service! What a blessing she will be to her family as she tends to her grandchild.

Sunday School supports Wellspring Lutheran Services with a Donation drive on September 12
During this school year, the St. Paul Sunday School program will have a “kids helping kids” theme, supporting Wellspring Lutheran Services through offerings and donation drives. In support of the kids and families that Wellspring serves, children are being asked to bring a donation item on the first day of Sunday School, September 12.  On opening day, a representative from Wellspring will be here to speak with the children to help kick-off this effort. If you would like to help support St. Paul’s Sunday School program in this mission, donations can be dropped off to the office or church. Items that are of the greatest need are diapers and baby wipes, back packs, school supplies, hygiene products, cleaning supplies, and sports equipment (soccer balls & basketballs). Gift cards and cash donations are also appreciated by Wellspring. Please label any donations dropped off for Wellspring. If you have any questions, please call or text Vicki Begick at 525-3733 or Lynn Hendrick at 450-1969.
Church Extension Fund Saving Stamp Program...
Makes saving fun! Teaches Stewardship! Helps build churches, too!

Welcome back to school and another year of buying Saving Stamps from Church Extension Fund (CEF).

Each week, students (and parents and staff) have an opportunity to invest in the CEF Savings Stamps program. Saving Stamps are available in increments of $1.00, $5.00, and $10.00. New savings accounts can be opened with an initial deposit as low as $5.00.

In no time at all, kids see that small change can grow into big savings. Before they know it, they’ll save enough to purchase something wonderful. Over time, savings grow to purchase a bike, a car, pay for a mission trip, or college tuition.

Just as important, is that Saving Stamps do far more than teach kids how to save; they also provide an opportunity to participate in the growth of the church.

Like all CEF investments, the money put into Saving Stamps is used to provide low-interest loans to Lutheran Congregations in Michigan. These loans help build new churches and schools. And the earnings on these loans is used to repay your child or you with interest. By saving with CEF, everyone learns how their money can be used to bless others.

Participating in the CEF Saving Stamp Program can help everyone adopt stewardship habits that will last a lifetime.
Starting Monday, August 30th and every Monday morning (except September 7th) from 7:30 until 8:00, Savings Stamps will be available for sale in the school gymnasium. Mrs. Luella Britton (St. Paul’s CEF Rep) or Mrs. Shasta Duffey will be on hand to help with your child’s saving efforts.

Also, Mrs. Britton will be at the September 8th PTO meeting to answer questions and provide further information.

We pray God’s continued blessings on St. Paul School, as well as our students, staff, and parents.
