Get Your Ticket for the Valentine’s Day Dance

Children Preschool-5th grade and their families are invited to join us for an evening of pizza, pop, dessert, and dancing. You will need to purchase your ticket for the dance. Tickets are available in the office for $12 per family. Please purchase your ticket by today so that we can have enough food and drinks for everyone! If anyone would like to help decorate or set up, please let Mrs. Lara know!
Join us on Tuesday, February 11, at 6 p.m. in the 1st & 2nd grade classroom for our monthly MOPS meeting. Enjoy time with other mothers of preschool and younger in the community as we support each other, discuss our different lifestyles and learn from each other, find new ways to bring God into our homes, and enjoy fun activities each month! 2020 Healthy Heart Challenge
The Healthy Heart Challenge is for grades Y5-8th grade. The goal is to raise money for the American Heart Association throughout the months of February and March. We begin our Healthy Heart Challenge with our kick-off event next Friday with several activities in the gym for grades Y5-8th grade. Please bring St. Paul t-shirts and shorts to school on that day to change into after lunch. The Healthy Heart Challenge kick-off event runs from 12:30-1:30 on Friday, February 14th, 2020. More details about fundraising and REWARDS will be published in the February 14th Potpourri.
Sign Up for Parent-Teacher Conferences
Y5-8th Grade Parent Teacher conferences take place Thursday, February 27 from 3:15-7 p.m. and Friday, February 28 from 11:45 a.m.-4 p.m. There are two sign-up sheets (one for each day) on the table in the hallway. Please choose a time by printing your student’s name in one of the time slots with your student's teacher for one of the days. Please make your choices by Friday, February 21. If one of these days/times will not work for you, please contact your student's teacher to make other arrangements.
Extended Care – Friday, February 28
Please sign up if you need Extended Care on Friday, February 28 after the early dismissal at 11:30 a.m. Sign-up sheets are in the office and with Mrs. Kramer, or you can sign up by contacting the office. Deadline will be Friday, February 21, and we will need at least 7 children signed up in order to provide care. Please plan to bring a sack lunch from home.

"Truly God has listened; he has attended to the voice of my prayer." Ps 66:19. Join in praising God as we recount His steadfast love in our lives! Together we'll draw snapshots of answered prayers, the amazing people in our lives, and the "awesome deeds" He has done. "But I can't draw people..." Sure you can! You'll be able to by the end of the evening, promise. Come and learn, be encouraged, and praise God in prayer and creativity! Thursday, 2/27, in the school auditorium, 6:30-8:30. Save The Date!
March 15th at 2 p.m. St. Paul will participate in Bay City's St. Patrick's Day Parade. St. Paul families are encouraged to join the fun. Limit of 25 children riding on the float. Older children may walk with their parent. Contact Kristen Glasser at 989-529-2962 to participate. A waiver must be signed prior to the event.
Classes for New Members
Pastor’s “Lutheranism 101” class will meet Sundays at 4 p.m. in the school auditorium starting March 1. Anyone interested in becoming a member or anyone else who would like to learn is invited to attend.
Saginaw Spirit Teacher Appreciation Night!
Come join your St. Paul Church and School family for a fun night at the Dow Event Center! The Saginaw Spirit will be recognizing the importance of schools and educators at the home game 7:05 p.m. on Friday, February 28th, and they want to encourage families to come and be a part of supporting their school and teachers. Tickets are all $9.00 for everyone 3 years old and up, and can be gotten directly from the Saginaw Spirit. Here's how it works:

- Purchase your tickets which will be held at the Will Call window under your name.
