Attention Mothers Of Preschoolers!
St. Paul Is forming a MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) chapter! The preschool years are some of the most challenging for parents, but also some of the most important in your child's development. MOPS provides a place for support, fellowship, learning, and recharging. There will be two informational meetings for you to choose from to get more information: Sunday, Jan 12 @ 2:00 p.m. and Tuesday, Jan 14 @ 6:00 p.m., both in the 1&2 grade classroom at school. See Kayla Schlicker for more details.

Panda Express Fundraiser
Come eat at Panda Express on Bay Road in Saginaw this Wednesday, January 15 from 4-8 p.m. 20% of event sales will be donated to St. Paul. Please bring the paper copy or show the digital version of the flyer above.

Save The Date – Special Voters Meeting – January 26, 2020 9:15 A.M.
Don’t miss a special voters meeting on January 26, 2020! On August 19, 2018, the members of St. Paul Lutheran Church voted overwhelmingly to approve a resolution for financial support of and the construction of a Ministry Center addition to our current church building. A lot of prayer, energy, effort, and thought have gone into this project by your Building Committee, Staff, and WTA Architects over the past year and a half. We are now ready to affirm all the work that has been accomplished so far. Our vote on Sunday, January 26th will be to approve the final financial plan, as well as approve the beginning of construction this spring. While some details of the original vote may have changed somewhat, the overall mission remains the same: “Resolved that we give glory and thanks to God for the faith and lives of those who, out of love for their Savior Jesus Christ, desire to see the Kingdom of God increase.” Thank you for your continued prayers as we work together to do God’s work for the sake of His Kingdom. Please mark your calendar for this important event: Special Voters Meeting – Sunday, January 26, 2020 - 9:15 a.m. in the church sanctuary. Childcare will be available in the school auditorium.

Youth Wild Game Potluck & Silent Auction Sunday, January 26, 12-1:30 P.M.
Join the Youth once again for tasty eats and lots of great deals on a wide variety of outdoor and home goods. We'd love it if you would bring your favorite dish to pass (game from this years' hunt is encouraged!) but by all means come even if you don't have a dish. If you would like to donate anything to the auction, please contact Mr. Schultz at the St. Paul Office. New this year: We will have two fire arms up for sealed bid auction. You must be present at 1:30 when we open the envelopes to win the bid on either a MAK-90 7.62x39mm rifle or a Winchester 1300 Defender 12ga. shot gun.

4th Thursday Visual Faith -- The Lord Is My Banner
Banners are more than just pretty accents, they are a rallying point and an identifier! Where are we headed in 2020? How do we find our way when we get off track? We keep our eyes on the banner: “The LORD is my banner!” Exodus 17:15. Banners are fun to draw and are a great addition to Bible journaling and note taking. Come learn how! January 23rd, 6:30-8:30pm, in the School Auditorium. Bring your Bible, a notebook, and a friend! Contact Katie with questions at 989.225.3532.

Come For Breakfast!
Help us celebrate National Lutheran Schools Week at our Pancake Breakfast on Thursday, January 30. All congregation members are invited as a thank you for supporting St. Paul Lutheran School. Join us between 7:15-8 a.m. in the school auditorium for pancakes, sausage, bacon, & juice.
