Y5-8th Grade Parent Teacher conferences will take place Thursday, February 12, from 11:45 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. and Friday, February 13, from 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
Teachers have differing scheduled availability. If you are not available during the offered days/time, please contact your student’s teacher via FastDirect to set up a time that will work for both of you.
Reminder to all parents: Parent/Teacher Conferences are slated for 15 minutes. Please be courteous and mindful of the designated start and end time.
Please signup for Parent Teacher Conferences no later than Tuesday, February 10, 2026 by 1:30 p.m.

If so, please sign up using the online form below, contact the office, or let Mrs. Kramer know. We will need at least 7 children signed up in order to provide care. Please plan to bring a sack lunch from home.
A confirmation FastDirect message will be sent to confirm if Extended Care will be offered or not.

Thank you for the amazing turn out at our Pancake Breakfast in celebration of National Lutheran Schools Week. 178 people braved the cold weather to enjoy pancakes, sausage, potatoes, fruit, and dessert. Excellent food, warm conversation, and lively jazz music created a great way to start the school day. It was our way of saying thank you to you–the Church and School Families. Thank you for all that you do to support St. Paul Lutheran School.
Principal Matyas would like to give a special thank you to the skilled hands that made the breakfast possible: Sue Berger-Headings, Karen Bass, & Lisa Schmidt –thank you for feeding our hearts and nourishing our souls with incredible food!

Thank you to all the businesses and individuals that donated items and for everyone that brought delicious food to pass. You helped us raise over $6,000! The proceeds are going to help cover expenses for the 2026 Michigan District Youth Gathering on Mackinac Island this summer. We are so grateful for your continued prayers and generosity! | | | | |
Zion Lutheran School in Auburn is organizing an equestrian team, thanks to the efforts of Mrs. Sarah Schwannecke! St. Paul has been invited to join. If you are interested in becoming part of this, here is what you need to know:
- Team members must be in grades 5-8
- Only 2 riders allowed per school
- You must have access to your own horse to haul for practices
- Practices will begin in the beginning of February, most likely Sunday afternoons
- Show date is April 24-26 at Midland County Fair
- On average the cost is $150 (reg fee, camping fee, stall fee, and the shavings)

Bring your athletic shorts and St. Paul spirit wear for the Healthy Heart Challenge athletic activities on February 11, 2026 from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Your student will be able to change at school before the activities begin.
Athletic shorts should be modest (not exceeding 4 inches from the knee).

Children Preschool-5th grade and their families are invited to join us for an evening of pizza, pop, dessert, and dancing on Friday, February 20, from 5:30-7:00 p.m.
You will need to purchase your ticket for the dance.
Tickets are now available in the office for $15 per family.
Please purchase your ticket by Wednesday, February 18, so that we can have enough food and drinks for everyone!
If anyone would like to help decorate or set up for the event, please let Mrs. Lara know!
