Valentine’s Day Dance

Children Preschool-5th grade and their families are invited to join us for an evening of pizza, pop, dessert, and dancing. You will need to purchase your ticket for the dance. Tickets are available in the office for $12 per family. Please purchase your ticket by Friday, February 7, so that we can have enough food and drinks for everyone! If anyone would like to help decorate or set up, please let Mrs. Lara know!

Celebrate 100 Days of Learning!
Tuesday, February 4 is our 100th day of school, and the whole school is invited to dress up like centegenerians (100-year-olds). Get out your suspenders, cardigans, and glasses! Let’s have fun!

Special Voters’ Meeting
Sunday, February 2, 2020

Childcare will be available in the school gym
As a reminder, this meeting will summarize all work that has gone into the Ministry Center project over the last year and a half, as well as plans for moving forward. Additionally, the assembly will be asked to authorize the beginning of construction this spring.

Register Your Team For Trivia Night
Get your team together! A night of trivia fun and laughs is scheduled for Saturday, February 15, at 6 PM. 
  • How: Teams of 6; BYOB; decorate your team table by theme; email Pastor ( to register your full team by February 14 (maximum 25 teams).
  • How much: $60/team (Pay at the door)
  • Where: Bob and Gail Schlicker's pole barn (Schlicker Shed; 5605 Three Mile Road; Bay City)
  • When: Saturday, February 15, 6-9 PM
  • Why: All proceeds go to the Ministry Center fund.
  • Prizes will be awarded to the best-themed table and the winners, plus the coveted St. Paul Trivia Trophy.

Classes for New Members 
Pastor’s “Lutheranism 101” class will meet Sundays at 4 p.m. in the school auditorium starting March 1. Anyone interested in becoming a member or anyone else who would like to learn is invited to attend.

Saginaw Spirit Teacher Appreciation Night!
Come join your St. Paul Church and School family for a fun night at the Dow Event Center! The Saginaw Spirit will be recognizing the importance of schools and educators at the home game 7:05 p.m. on Friday, February 28th, and they want to encourage families to come and be a part of supporting their school and teachers. Tickets are all $9.00 for everyone 3 years old and up, and can be gotten directly from the Saginaw Spirit. Here's how it works:
  1. Go to this website:
  2. Enter the username: teacher and the password: spirit
  3. Purchase your tickets which will be held at the Will Call window under your name.
  4. Make sure you put in the "Notes" section that you are from "St. Paul Lutheran - Frankenlust" so that they put all of our people in the same section together!
Easy Peasy. Get your tickets soon as the site is active right now until the 27th. Enjoy the game!
Items Needed for Valentine’s Dance
  • 12 dozen valentine cookies
  • 15 containers of Hawaiian punch
  • 3 dozen heart-shaped or red/pink balloons
  • 1 $25 helium tank
  • 3 people to help decorate Friday (Feb. 14) afternoon from 1-3 p.m.
  • 12 different gift cards ($5, $10, $15…) from various places for prizes
