NWEA Winter Testing

Winter NWEA Testing will take place at St. Paul during the weeks of January 12-16, 2026, with absent students making up missed tests during the week of January 20-23, 2026. The school schedule is as follows:

Tuesday: Math

Wednesday: Reading

Thursday: Language Usage (Grades 3-8)

All testing will be conducted between 9:00 am and 11:00 a.m. Please encourage your child to get a good night’s sleep and a quality breakfast before arriving at school. Adequate sleep and quality nutrition are great ways to improve focus and academic ability.

PTO Meeting

Parents, please join us! The PTO will meet on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at 6:00 pm in the school cafeteria. Pizza and childcare are provided.

If you have not attended a PTO Meeting in the past, consider joining us! Meetings are a great opportunity for you to provide input on PTO-sponsored activities, vote on where funds are spent, and learn more about how to get involved with the school.

Meetings include classroom updates, Treasurer reports, (old and new) business discussions – including possible fundraisers, fellowship events, and allocation of PTO funds. Each meeting, parents are entered to win a prize for their attendance. We hope to see you on Wednesday night!

Second Quarter Wildcat Club - Treasure Hunting

The Wildcat Club is an organization for St. Paul students in grades 4-8. During the Second Quarter, the Wildcat Club will experience Treasure Hunting. Treasure hunts are a great way for students to enhance problem-solving skills, boost creativity, and improve communication. Students will have opportunities to both create treasure hunts and complete treasure hunts. Any student in 4th-8th grade can participate as long as they have a signed permission slip. Students need not attend every single meeting. Principal Matyas will be the adult in charge.

Paper copies of the permission slip have been sent home with students.

Wellspring Counselor Referral Form

St. Paul’s School Counselor Elizabeth from Wellspring will be in the building every other Monday throughout the school year. If you would like your student to meet with Counselor Elizabeth, please fill out the referral form.
