St. Paul Hot Lunch
Thank you to all who have continued to support the Hot Lunch program. It certainly has been a help as we face an interesting year!! All meals are served in takeout containers this year which has been an unexpected added expense to the program. Due to COVID we no longer are doing the Adopt a Salad Bar program, but we do have needs for gift cards or cash donations to help offset the cost of these additional items that we need to purchase. Walmart, Sam’s, Meijer gift cards or cash donations would be greatly appreciated. They can be labeled Hot Lunch and put in the offering basket at church, sent to school with a student or put in the specially marked box (formerly construction worker snack collection) in the back of church. If you have any questions please call Heidi at school 684-4450. Thank you again for your ongoing support of this ministry!!.
Auction News!
After many months of storing auction items, we were happy to have an online Ministry Center Auction in October through Albrecht Auction Service. What a blessing! A big thank you goes out to all of the individuals and businesses who generously donated auction items. We are thankful for Julia Appold for helping to gather donations. We also appreciate the generosity of Thrivent and our St. Paul teachers and students for donating classroom baskets. After our settlement with Albrecht Auction, we were able to make a profit of $8,175. In addition, a year ago, we were gifted estate items and other goods donated by St. Paul members. We collected $1,975 in presales for the Ministry Center. That’s a total of $10,150! God is good! To Him be the glory.

Outside Recess Volunteers Needed
We are looking for helpers Monday-Friday from 11:30 a.m.- 1:05 p.m. (4 recess periods since classrooms are separated) for outside recess. Volunteers will be particularly helpful once cold weather arrives and children need assistance from classroom teachers as they dress in their winter gear. As a recess helper, your outdoor supervision will allow children to go outside once they're dressed. We're hoping to set a recess volunteer schedule now so that everyone gets familiar with this year's routines before the cold weather comes. As in the past, a $5/day credit can be applied to your family's account. Please let Mr. Lustila or the school office know if you are willing to help. Thank you!
Bring in $1.00 or $5.00 or more!
Mrs. Shasta Duffey will have Saving Stamps from Church Extension Fund (CEF) available to purchase (from $1 to $5 to $10) this Monday morning at 7:30-7:55 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran School. What a great way to teach kids how to save money!
