Pastries with Parents - Thank You

We would like to thank the PTO officers for offering the great hospitality at Pastries with Parents on Thursday, October 16. 174 people enjoyed fellowship around donuts, pastries, juice, and coffee. Wyatt the Wildcat made a special appearance. Thank you for the great morning!

Pump for A Cause - Thank You

St. Paul Lutheran Church and School would like to thank the Dore Corporation Jerky Outlet Mobile Gas Station for choosing St. Paul Lutheran Church and School for their Summer 2025 (June 1-August 31) Pump for a Cause. 


At the end of Chapel on Wednesday, October 15, Marketing Specialist Madelyn Paten stopped by St. Paul to gift the Church and School with an oversized check. Madeln let us know: “With community support and a matched donation from Dore Stores, we’re excited to present your school with a donation check for $1,354.20.” The money will be a blessing toSt. Paul. Thank you to everyone who participated to make this donation possible.

Safe Storage Law Resources

St. Paul Parents, please read the following information that has been asked of us to send home to you via MANS (Michigan Association for Non-Public Schools) and the Michigan Department of Education (MDE):


Districts are required to send information home to parents and caregivers on the safe storage of firearms. This is in accordance with the “Safe Storage Laws,” MCL 28.429, MCL 380.1313a, and MCL 380.1313b. The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services provided this information to the Michigan Department of Education (MDE) for distribution.

Saginaw Spirit Adopt A School Opportunity

St. Paul has been selected as an Adopt A School by the Saginaw Spirit Hockey Team. This program is sponsored by Frankenmuth Credit Union.


Because of our selection, St. Paul has been awarded a number of tickets to be given out to students and families. Each ticket is good for one (1) upper level ticket and is valid for the 2025-2026 season (not for a playoff game). If you are interested in entering the drawing for your family to attend a hockey game please fill out this Google Form. One entry per student, deadline for entry is Thursday, October 23. Winners will be notified by October 31.

Trunk or Treat

Join us for Trunk or Treat on Friday, October 24, 6:00-7:00 p.m.

*Rain Date: Saturday, October 25, 1:00-2:00 p.m.


Come to the school parking lot and playground for trick-or-treating, host a treat trunk, or just come hang out for the simple joy of being together. The event will be all outdoors with light refreshments and snacks provided.


Please fill out this form to let us know you are willing to host a trunk. Thank you for being willing to help us make this event possible!


NOTE: Please plan candy/treats for about 150-200 kids. 5:30 p.m. arrival (or before) is recommended for trunk set-up.

VIP Day

We are looking forward to VIP Day.


On Friday, October 31, please drop off students at the school following our usual drop-off procedure. Like normal, school doors will open at 7:00 a.m. with Early Morning Arrival until 7:45 a.m. Students will report to their classrooms for attendance for an 8:00 a.m. school start.

 

At 8:25 a.m., students will be escorted from the school to the church where they will meet up with their VIPs who will be enjoying coffee, refreshments, and fellowship in the Church Ministry Center. All students and VIPs will enjoy Chapel in the Church Sanctuary. Following the Chapel Service, VIPs and students will be escorted to the school.

 

From 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. students and VIPs will enjoy various activities. Dismissal for school and the event will occur at 11:30 a.m.
