Mrs. Dent, Mrs. Wyman, and Miss Fehn’s classes will shop on Tuesday, Oct. 27th. Mrs. Seward, Mrs. Polzin, Miss Gallagher, and Mr. Garcia’s classes will shop on Wednesday, Oct. 28th. Please support in-person shopping by sending money in with your student on their shopping day. (CASH or CHECK made out to St. Paul.)

St. Paul friends and family can shop in the school gym at dismissal on Thursday, Oct. 29th and from 9:30-11:30 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 30th. In-person sales earn 50% back in rewards for our school. Online sales earn 25%. scholastic.com/bf/stpaullutheranschool11

All students and VIPs will enjoy Chapel in the Church Sanctuary. Following the Chapel Service, VIPs and students will be escorted to the school.

This year’s theme verse is “I will praise the Lord all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live” Psalm 146:2. Thank you!

Looking ahead, please plan on the following whole school Theme Shirt Thursdays:

  • November 19
  • December 17

Candy Bar Donation - Thank You!

St. Paul would like to thank Sharen from the Forward Convenience Store on Westside Saginaw Rd. for choosing our students to be the recipients of a donation of candy. Customers were encouraged to purchase candy for our students throughout the month of September. This week Sharen dropped off 25 candy bars! The teachers will decide how to best distribute the candy in the upcoming days, weeks, or months. Thank you!

Holly Jolly Christmas Store

The Holly Jolly Christmas Store is right around the corner (December 10 & 11). The Holly Jolly Christmas Store is a fully donation funded event, for students of St. Paul to shop for Christmas gifts for family. During the Holly Jolly Christmas store, students will shop with their classes to purchase gifts ranging in price from $1-$5 for family members. Gifts will go home with the students wrapped and ready to be delivered at Christmas.

To make this a successful event for St. Paul Students, the PTO needs your help!

We are accepting donations of large shopping bags (for students to bring gifts home in-large plastic or reusable bags), gift bags, tissue paper, tape, along with new and gently used items for moms, dads, grandparents, and siblings. (We never have enough mens and older boy items so those are a top priority, but anything is appreciated!)

The PTO asks that no clothing items be donated this year.

Additionally if any Thrivent members are interested in supplying a Thrivent Grant, please reach out to Jen Zielinski.

Donation boxes are located inside the main entrance at the school and in the Ministry Center. Every donation helps make the event special for our students.

Contact Jen Zielinski at 989-450-8057 with any questions.
