If you are emailing Mrs. Schomer that your student(s) will be absent please try to do so the day before the absence begins. It is a lot to keep track of when it is emailed weeks ahead of time.
If your child is ill or becomes ill at school, they need to be symptom free for 24 hours before they can return to school

If you choose to bring your dog to pick up they must remain in the car please
Star's 7th and 8th grade students submitted poems they wrote for the Ann Arbor state wide poetry contest a few months ago.

Emma has been named as a state grade-level winner in the
Zaner-Bloser National Handwriting Contest. Emma's printing entry form was submitted as the first-grade winner for Our Lady Star of the Sea. All K-8 school level winners them compete at the state level. Judges select one public and one private school state grade level winner. congratulations Emma on being a state grade level winner for Michigan. Emma's entry will now be judged at the National level and she will have a chance to become a national semifinalist. Good Luck Emma!
