Homecoming Parade - 5:45 p.m.

Football Game Kickoff - 7:00 p.m.

All St. Paul Church & School families are welcome!

We will be providing grilled hot dogs, chips, plates, napkins and cutlery.

Please bring a dish to pass, your own non-alcoholic beverage, lawn chairs or blankets for seating.

Look for our school tent with the St. Paul signs around it. It will be set up between the driveways at Valley.

Staying for the game? Seating in the stands could be tight so you’re welcome to bring your lawn chairs into the game and find a seat around the track toward the end zones with other VL fans!

Does your child have an EVENT PASS from a VL camp this summer? Use it for complimentary family admittance to the game!

We are looking forward to a fun filled evening with our St. Paul Lutheran School Family!

Please remember VLHS is a no alcohol/drug zone.

In celebration of Homecoming, St. Paul students and staff are invited to wear Valley Lutheran High School spirit wear to school on Thursday, September 25.

National Lutheran School Accreditation

Parent Survey

Dear St. Paul Parents,

As a part of the accreditation process, St. Paul Lutheran School is inviting you to complete a Parent Survey.

The survey has 7 sections: Lutheran Education, Education Quality, Leadership, Communication, Relationships, Facilities, and Finance. It is estimated to take about 5 minutes to complete.

The survey is anonymous.

The Parent Survey will be open until Friday, October 17. Your feedback is important to us. If you have any questions please contact the school office.

To Note: This is a different survey than ParentPulse. The questions are generated from the National Lutheran School Accreditation process. 4 groups of people are being surveyed during the accreditation process: parents, students (grades 4-8), teachers, and board members.

Adopt Our Cold Bar Program (St. Paul Hot Lunch)

Mrs. Sue Headings our Head Cook at St. Paul Lutheran School would like to invite St. Paul Church Members to consider the “Adopt Our Cold Bar Program”. Church members can learn more about the “Adopt our Cold Bar Program” in the brochure located near the ramp of the Ministry Center or by clicking here.

No time to shop?! Monetary donations are always welcomed and appreciated!

  • Thank you Julia Appold & Leslie Kelley for sponsoring the Cold Bar during the week of September 22-24. We appreciate your generosity!

Hearing & Vision Screening

The Bay County Health Department will be here on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 to conduct hearing and vision exams.

Hearing exams are for grades K, 2 & 4 and vision exams are for grades 1, 3, 5 & 7.

If you would like to opt your child out from the hearing or vision exam we will need a note, either written or emailed to office@stpaulbaycity.org

Book Fair

Save the date for St. Paul's Scholastic Book Fair October 27th-31st in our school gym. If you are available during the school day to volunteer, please contact Kristen Glasser at 989-529-2962 for more information. Any amount of time volunteering is greatly appreciated.

St. Paul in Prayer

All are invited to be a part of St. Paul in Prayer, a new group beginning here at St. Paul that will be meeting once a week to pray for our school, students, staff, and church. Each meeting will be one hour long as we use a specific format for praying using scripture as our guide. We will have an informational meeting on Thursday, Oct. 9 at 8:00 a.m. in the St Paul Ministry Center. Even if you do not have children or grandchildren at St. Paul, you may still come and join us in prayer. If you have any questions, please call or Text Heidi Schultz at 989-450-0975.
