As in the past years, we would like to give the priests a monetary gift from the students and school families for all they do in the religious education of our children. If you would like to contribute, please send cash (if possible) in an envelope to the school office marked "Priests' Gifts" by Tuesday, December 15. Thank you!

Special Area Teachers &
 School Staff

It's time to show our  appreciation at Christmas to our amazing special area teachers who teach drama, art, music, Spanish (2 teachers), PE (2 teachers), computer, and our school librarian. This collection will also be shared with our school support staff that includes our maintenance, office staff, cafeteria manager and cafeteria monitors, administration and counseling staff.   (We don't want them to be left out because they do not have home room classes.)
Allison Jenkins will be taking up the collection this year. If you would like to donate (any amount), please send cash or check in a sealed envelope to the school office marked "Allison Jenkins" by Tuesday, December 15.
Let's show our staff that they are appreciated this holiday season!
Thank You!

Thank you to the generous volunteers and school families that made our Jesse Tree project so successful this year. St. Margaret Mary school and parish brought joy to over 600 children this Christmas. God bless you!

News from Mrs. Sims

Advent is a time of hope-filled anticipation of the promise of salvation. Always and everywhere we pray that Christ comes to renew our lives.

'Tis the season to be joyful and grateful for all of God's blessings.  Our students are fully aware of sharing their gifts this holiday season. From the K-1 musical and band and choir concert, to the abundance of Jesse tree gifts that filled our classrooms, SMM students seem to understand the spirit of Advent. We are all inspired by the generosity and kindness that SMM families show others. The children are so excited to be able to share their gifts and talents this holiday season. Thank you so much for supporting these efforts through the school and parish.
On another note, the Archdiocese has adopted the policy allowing the use of online school in the event of multiple inclement weather days. SMM will implement online school after the second snow day in the school calendar. Snow day plans will be accessible through Google, and families will be notified if we are using an online day. More details will follow if needed.

May God Bless You and Your Family,
Wendy Sims
