SJA Veterans Wall of Honor

In honor of Veteran’s Day, the SJA Student Council would like to thank and honor all of the veterans who have a connection to our school and parish community by displaying their name on our SJA Veterans Wall of Honor display. We are asking families to fill out and color a flag for each veteran they would like honored in our display.

Directions for filling out a flag:

  1. Fill out the information on the flag:
  • Veteran’s Name
  • Years Served (example:  1999-2003)
  • Rank
  • Connection to SJA (example: Jack Smith’s Grandfather, Lucy Smith’s Uncle)
  1. Cut and glue the correct military branch seal onto the flag in the space provided
  2. Neatly color the flag and seal (Hint: The stripes with writing should be white)
  3. Have your SJA student return the flag to school and place it in the collection bin by the main office.

Families may fill out as many flags as needed for their family. Please feel free to make as many copies as needed or have your student ask their teacher for additional copies

Development Committee Information

Do you have a corporate matching gift program with your employer? This program allows you to amplify your contribution for only a couple of minutes of your time.

Here's how you can get started:

Reach out to your HR or payroll department:

Contact your company's human resources or payroll department to inquire about their corporate matching gift program. They'll provide you with the necessary information and forms to initiate the process.

Complete the paperwork:

Fill out any required forms from your employer, including all pertinent details for your donation to be matched. Typically, these forms request basic information about St. Joan of Arc School, such as our 501(c)(3) nonprofit status (WE ARE A 501(C)(3) ORGANIZATION), contact information, and proof (receipt) of donation.

Submit your request:

Adhere to your company's guidelines for submitting the matching gift request. This might involve sending the form via mail, email, or through an online portal, depending on your company's procedures.

St. Joan of Arc School will receive the match:

Once your company processes your request, they'll send a matching donation to us, effectively doubling the impact of your original contribution.

This straightforward step has the potential to significantly boost the support we receive, allowing us to achieve our goals even more rapidly.

Thanks for your consideration! If you have any questions, please contact Mr Giovingo President of the Development Committee or the school office.
