The Rochester City School District would like to congratulate Jennifer Geedy, a 5
th grade bilingual teacher at Abraham Lincoln School No. 22, for being selected as the 2020 Touchdown for Teachers Award winner by the Buffalo Bills and M and T Bank.
Ms. Geedy was informed of her award via Zoom from Buffalo Bills left tackle Dion Dawkins. Geedy was chosen among over 700 outstanding educators who were nominated.
Among other things, Geedy was recognized for going above and beyond during the COVID-19 pandemic for personally providing meals to students whose families do not have transportation.
