Hello CUSD Family,
Happy St. Patrick's Day Week!
This week our school sites were very busy meeting with staff and parents to present their "School Site Reopening Plans". Please take a moment to view the very informative site reopening videos that we have included above. Each school site has also sent a survey to parents requesting information regarding the educational program choice, In-Person or Distance Learning, that they will make for their child. CUSD parents please help us and make sure to complete the survey as soon as possible.
As a reminder, the reopening start dates for students at each site will be phased in beginning on April 12, 2021. For complete details in English of the CUSD Reopening Letter click HERE.

This week our sports teams had a full schedule. Tennis opened its season with a win over Brawley on Wednesday, March 17.
The Bulldog Cross Country team closed its season with a win over Southwest for both boys and girls squads on Tuesday, March 16. A total of 8 athletes, four boys, and four girls, qualified for the IVL Finals scheduled for Saturday, March 20 at Sunbeam Lake.
Our Bulldog Football team will play its first contest in over a year as they travel to Central to take on the Spartans tonight, March 19. Kick-off is set at 7:00 pm. Dial-in tonight to La Radio Rocola (Bulldog Radio) to listen to the game live and cheer on Bulldogs as they play Central.
Other CUSD highlights for this week are the AVID Parent Meetings, ASES activities, and Student Recognition Ceremonies. We are proud of the accomplishment of our students and the effort that our parents have shown to support their students during the year.
The health and safety of our staff, students, and community remains our priority. We continue to provide appointments for our staff to receive the COVID-19 Vaccine as well as to monitor the latest information closely and work with our local health agencies and partners to ensure that we are doing what is in the community's best public health interest.
Thank you for your continued patience and flexibility.
Have a wonderful, safe, and restful weekend!
