Dear St. Paul Parents,
We want to thank you for your patience in waiting to hear about the supply lists.
First Quarter Supplies:
Due to limited storage space and an inability for students to use lockers this year, our teachers have reviewed the supply lists and highlighted items that should be brought on your child(ren)’s first day of school. These items will be used for the first quarter. This does not mean that other supply list items are null and void as we are planning to use these materials in the future. Extra supplies can be kept at home to replenish as needed. We are simply trying to maximize the space that we have available while keeping things manageable for students.
Added Art Supplies:
We apologize for adding a few additional materials so late in the summer. Since we will not be able to combine Art materials and use collective supplies this year, we have added a few items to each child’s supply list K-8. These art supplies will be important for students participating in our online option as well.
Gym Class:
Gym class will take place outside whenever possible. While the COVID-19 enhanced safety precautions are in place, our students will be allowed to wear gym shoes on days they have gym class (including 6th - 8th grade). We will not be able to accommodate changing into gym clothes or bringing large gym bags.
Mr. Mazza has included an optional purchase of silicone shoe covers for grades 5-8. Since students will not be able to change, the shoe covers may help prevent shoes from becoming soaked in the wet grass. Mr. Mazza is planning to store these shoe covers for students if you choose to purchase them.
PAC Supplies:
If you purchased school supplies from PAC for your child(ren), the supplies will be in your child’s classroom on the day of their staggered start the week of August 31. As a reminder, Group A should attend M/T/F, and Group B should attend W/Th/F.
Online Learning Option for 1st Quarter:
Students participating in the online option will also have materials available to use from home. If you purchased PAC Supplies for your child(ren), you will be able to pick these up next Friday afternoon (August 28) with your child’s other classroom materials. Our online learning coordinator will reach out to you with more specific information.
Homeroom Specific Supply Lists:
We are finalizing class lists trying to best serve in-person and online students with ideal groupings. We understand one or two grade level supply lists are teacher dependent.
