WELCOMING MINISTRY
HELP WELCOME NEWCOMERS TO PRINCE OF PEACE
Does smiling come easily to you? Are you passionate about Church becoming a more welcoming place? If so, we would love for you to help us welcome newcomers to Prince of Peace!

Every first and third Sundays, we have Fellowship Sonday after the first five Sunday Masses in the Community Center. We serve coffee and donuts and encourage the whole community to come and enjoy a time of fellowship and learn what is going on with the many different ministries here at POP. We also have a table where we welcome all newcomers to our parish. This is where we can use your help!

We are looking for friendly people who can welcome folks, give away a small gift, and answer any questions they might have. The time commitment is only about 20 minutes after Mass.

If you are interested, please email newevangelization@pophouston.org .
DISASTER RECOVERY
HURRICANE HARVEY DISASTER RECOVERY PROGRAM
Do you still have Hurricane Harvey recovery projects to complete, but are lacking funds? Do you need help with rent for a few months? Prince of Peace's Mercy Ministry (MM) has just been awarded a $50k grant from Catholic Charities, to help you! Each family may receive up to $2,500 in funds, after a home assessment and qualifying information has been provided to MM. Please visit the Mercy Center Tuesday - Friday, 9:00 am - 10:30 am, and come prepared with appropriate documentation. We will try to help. If your situation does not fit the criteria of this grant, we will help you connect with the Volunteer Lawyers Association for legal assistance.
