Update September 15, 2020
Dear Villa Community,

Last night, the Villa Board of Directors voted unanimously to open for in-person learning for charter kindergarten and elementary students the week of September 28 and for middle school students the week of October 5.

In making this decision, the Board considered the Arizona Department of Health Services benchmarks, guidance from county health officials, community needs, and available resources as referenced in the Governor’s Executive Order 2020-51. The board previously adopted a mitigation plan that includes mitigation strategies as outlined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus. The school’s mitigation plan can be found HERE.

In August, families at each level selected an “In Person” or “Remote” learning option for when campuses open to Charter students.
  • Families that previously selected the “In Person” option can change their selection to “Remote” learning if they so choose. Please complete THIS FORM to indicate this change by Friday, September 18.
  • Families who have selected “Remote” learning may change to “In Person” learning at limited entry points: (i) the day after Fall Break (Oct 19); (ii) the day after Winter Break (Jan 4); or (iii) the day after Spring Break (Mar 15).

Please read the Reopening Plan for Charter Students HERE. The plan includes information on the return to school schedule, key daily procedures, face coverings, data tracking, reporting and notification requirements, etc. Please read it in its entirety.

Additional information with be sent to families who have selected “In person” learning next week.

Thank you so much for your continued patience and support.
