Building on the success of the first few weeks of the school year, registration for in-person programming beginning Tuesday October 13th is now open! To start, we are offering school day and full day options for students in 2nd-8th grade who are not eligible for an in-person spot at school. Even if you have had your child attending the program, please read this email carefully as we have adjusted rates and schedule options to accommodate for the need for full day, full time care while also making part-time options available.
Program Dates:
We plan to run this program from October 13th through the remainder of the school year unless circumstances change. We will closely follow guidance from both state and local authorities as well as CPSD to determine if or when we need to make the decision to close for the health and safety of our community, or make other adjustments.
Registration Options:
Families may choose to enroll their children in any of the following schedule options. Schedule options are fixed and there is no flexibility to change the days listed below. This format allows us to create reasonable cohort sizes and allows us to operate as safely as we can during this pandemic.
- 5 Days - Monday through Friday
- 3 Days - Monday, Wednesday, Friday
- 2 Days - Tuesday, Thursday
-
School Day Only*: 8:30am - 3pm, primarily support for school based virtual learning
-
Full Day*: 8:30am - 5:30pm, virtual learning support + Afterschool
*Add on "Early Bird" option to drop off as early as 7:30am
Looking Ahead - Afterschool Only Enrollment and Arts Classes
Enrollment for children to do afterschool only (3:15-5:30pm) is not yet open or available. We plan to start the Afterschool Only option on October 26th based on availability of afternoon spaces. Starting on Oct 26th, we will also be incorporating specialized arts programming. There will not be separate weekday Maud Morgan Arts classes, but rather these will be incorporated into this program. We will send an email to open afterschool enrollment in the coming weeks, with the arts program schedule and availability of afternoon spaces. In an effort to reduce risk and support a safe reopening of public schools, we are not currently offering in-person programming for children attending in-person school. As things evolve, we may be able to offer programming for those children but we don't have an anticipated date at this time.
Program Information
Our program will be a continuation of the programming we have been offering since the beginning of the school year, although we are focusing on children who do not have the option of attending in-person school.
