Discover 'Works in your street'

While the prospect of an upgrade in your street is exciting, we understand that having construction works near your home or business, can be an inconvenience and cause disruption.

To help you plan around upcoming works near you, we’ve created an interactive online map, which includes our annual capital works program.

The map includes the location of upcoming works with the estimated start date and links to any relevant consultations or design plans.

Recycled roads reducing landfill

As part of the City of Marion’s climate action plan, we're committed to ensuring

a sustainable future for

all residents.

That’s why we are working with the Southern Region Waste Resource Authority to recycle crushed glass in asphalt for future road improvements.

By using Downer's high-recycled-content asphalt, Reconophalt, we've been able to repurpose over 11.7 million plastic bags, toner from 371,600 printer cartridges, and 12,105 tonnes of recycled asphalt pavement.
