School is Back in Session!

Last week, Christina School District welcomed back more than 14,000 students for the 2020-2021 school year. Students started the school year learning remotely from home.

Christina Launches CSD Virtual Academy

Christina School District Virtual Academy (CSDVA) is the District’s new, fully online, and teacher-directed learning program for students in kindergarten through Grade 12. We are offering engaging learning tailored to a virtual platform with CSD teachers trained in online instruction providing a powerful and personalized learning experience. CSDVA is aimed at serving students and families who are not comfortable with an in-person instructional experience.

Families electing to enroll their children into CSDVA will require a commitment to participate in the program for the entire 2020-21 school year. The deadline to enroll in the program is September 15. Complete the in-district transfer form to enroll.

School Meals During Remote Learning

The Christina School District Child Nutrition Services Department understands the importance of continuing to feed our students healthy and nutritious meals during remote learning. FREE lunch and breakfast for the next day will be distributed to each student. Mobile meals sites coming soon!

Christina Fall Sports Update

The Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association (DIAA) made a recommendation that fall sports can begin at the end of the month. This decision must still be approved by the Board of Education. In preparation for the potential start of the high school fall sports season, we are asking athletes who are interested in participating in high school sports to complete the “Fall Sports Interest Survey.” At this time, we do not plan to have fall sports at the middle school level.
