March 9, 2020
As you know, our nurse, Nancy Miggins, communicated with you last Friday about basic precautions we were taking here regarding the COVID-19 virus, and we have continued to keep abreast of the situation.
We learned today that several students here have brothers who travelled last week with The Heights school trips overseas. Although no instance of the COVID-19 virus has been identified at the Heights, or here for that matter, out of an abundance of caution, The Heights has closed this week, and we think it prudent that we would do the same. We will close tomorrow, March 10 and Wednesday, March 11. We will hold the Parent-Teacher/Mentor Conferences as scheduled for March 12 and 13.
We have asked the girls to bring their books and materials home. Teachers will have updated instructions on
by noon tomorrow.
The field trip to the National Basilica for the 7th grade scheduled for tomorrow, March 10, is cancelled.
