June 7, 2018
Our 2018 Annual Meeting provided an opportunity for Frisco Family Services' friends and supporters to come together as one to celebrate this community.

We are pleased to have welcomed some of our most Influential community partners to share their support for our mission and inspire all with their heartfelt words.

We truly could not do what we do without the immeasurable support our very CARING community provides!
Summer Lunch Program FeedsFrisco

Frisco Family Services Summer Lunch Program
June 4th - August 3rd
School's out, what's for lunch?

The Summer Lunch Program ensures that during the summer, school-age children have access to nutritious lunches and snack packs, and keep their bodies and minds active by participating in physical activities, summer reading and arts and crafts.

Meet Sara:
Sara is just one of the more than 6,000 Frisco ISD students on the free/reduced lunch program during the school year. Last year was the first summer without
We are honored that Leadership Frisco XXI selected Frisco Family Services Community Garden renovation as their class project this year, raising funding to help cleanup, expand and redesign the garden to help meet the needs of Frisco's only community Food Pantry.
Class members rolled up their sleeves and truly invested a lot of sweat equity, time and talent to address the growing issue of hunger in our local community.
Leadership Frisco XXI will be graduating at The State of the City, on June 12, 2018. We would like to thank them for all their hard work and dedication to our community!

Help Leadership Frisco XXI and Frisco Family Services by raising awareness in the community and funds to complete a beautiful community garden.
All fresh, organic produce grown at the Community Garden is distributed through Frisco’s only community Food Pantry to our neighbors in crisis.
Leaving a Legacy of Caring Behind
Recent Liberty High School graduate, Hannah Alnemer worked alongside and was mentored by Frisco Family Services' Director of Strategy, Joni Klarin to build a community garden at her school as a way to better connect her community to agriculture, and to raise awareness that hunger exists right here locally.

Planting is set to begin this fall and all of the produce harvested from the garden will be donated to Frisco's only community Food Pantry.

Congrats to Hannah for making our community and her school a better place, as a part of her Independent Study and Mentorship Program.
Turning Lemons into Lemonade
Little Hands Summer Lemonade Stand Fundraiser May 1st - August 10th

Little Hands is a volunteer program at Frisco Family Services that offers volunteer activities for children ages 4-10 and their parents. The Lemonade Stand Fundraiser is a great way for kids to help other kids by supporting our Back2School Program, as the proceeds raised will go to purchasing much-needed school supplies.

What a great opportunity for kids to make a difference in our community!

Volunteer Now
With kids out of school and families on vacation, even some of our most dedicated volunteers take time off during the summer.

Volunteers are a critical part  of  the success of Frisco Family Services and filling all of our most-needed volunteer positions is a challenge this time of year.

Get more involved in your community this summer, and make a difference right here, right now!
Board of Directors Spotlight - Dan Manley
We would like to take a moment to recognize a member of our very valuable Board of Directors, Dan Manley - Business Consultant/CPA, and Frisco Family Services Board Treasurer and Finance Committee Chair.

Dan’s commitment to Frisco Family Services starts with wanting to make our community a better place. What excites Dan most about serving on the board is
"the great team that is in place and the energy and passion they provide to the community".

In addition to spending time with his wife and three children, Dan can also be found enjoying a game of golf or a classic film. His favorite quote is
“What we’ve got here is a failure to communicate”. - (Cool Hand Luke)

The best advice Dan has ever received is "Love like there is no tomorrow."

As his six years serving on the board comes to a close, Dan’s demonstrated support and commitment to Frisco Family Services will not be forgotten.

We treasure each and every Board member, and are so grateful for their time and talents dedicated to ensuring the success of our clients and building a caring community.
