We'd be remiss if we didn't share some bittersweet news from the Exelon Foundation:
Steve Solomon
, Exelon's Vice President of Corporate Relations and President of the Exelon Foundation, will be retiring at the end of July after an impressive 35 year history at the company. Steve’s expertise, enthusiasm and commitment to collaboration have helped bring to life many programs through which Exelon serves its communities - including the STEM education programs we bring you each year - he has been a guiding light in making it all happen. We are sad to see him go but so enormously thankful for his inspiring leadership and service!
We are thrilled to have
Paula Conrad
lead the team as the new Vice President of Corporate Relations and President of the Exelon Foundation. Paula is no stranger to the team or serving the communities - she has worked in the corporate relations area for nearly 14 years at the company and is passionate about the work we do in the community. Before her roles in corporate relations as a director at Exelon and senior manager at ComEd, Paula worked for the nonprofit Misericordia, Cramer-Krasselt advertising, as an assistant to Illinois Governor Jim and First Lady Brenda Edgar, and at the Canadian Embassy in Washington.
