Continuous school improvement opportunities with the ROE | | |
Illinois Report Cards have been released, and many schools have begun to share out areas of student growth and celebrate their successes. However, you may be wondering what some of the data behind your designation means.
From December through June, the Kane County ROE is offering a free, monthly workshop series designed for Superintendents, Building Administrators, and School Leadership Teams. Each of these seven sessions will focus on a unique topic that will deepen your understanding of the Continuous Improvement Framework and Summative Designation process. You will be able to connect actionable insights, data tools, and collaborative learning to help your team advance its improvement efforts.
You can attend the full series or pick and choose the sessions that fit your needs. Details and registration for each session are below:
Location: 28 North 1st St., Geneva, IL 60134
Time: 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Other Upcoming Workshops and Academies |
| | | Local resources in response to SNAP benefit reductions | Do you have families within your school that have had their level of food assistance due to reductions to Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits? The Kane County Health Department has shared multiple resources for anyone that may benefit from local support. | | Talking school attendance and the MTSS framework | | |
Last week, Patricia Graczyk, PhD from the University of Illinois at Chicago, led the first of her workshop series with our office on the Multi-Dimensional, Multi-Tiered System of Supports for students that she helped develop.
This joint event with the Juvenile Justice Council drew over 100 educators to Elgin Community College. Participants went through the MTSS framework that is designed to create a culture of attendance for all students, identify children at risk of chronic absenteeism early, and provide appropriate individualized support and interventions.
Dr. Graczyk will be hosting three additional sessions, with the next scheduled for January 29, 2026. Click below to learn more and register.
