MAY 21, 2025

It has been an absolute joy to see the signs of celebration with graduation ceremonies happening across the county. As we approach the close of the 2024-25 school year, we want to commend you for all you and your students have accomplished within your schools, communities, and for each other.

At the Regional Office of Education, we know that one's educational journey does not end with this occasion. Gathering knowledge is a lifelong pursuit, one that we look to nurture and support with how we serve. Still, no matter how big or small, we hope you and your students take pride in everything that was achieved this school year. We wish every student all the best in the next stage of life.

Please remember to take some well-deserved time for yourself and relax this summer. If you are looking for an opportunity to add to your teaching toolkit, our office will remain busy with professional development, trainings, and networking events. Read on to learn more!

Patricia Dal Santo, Regional Superintendent

Regional Superintendent honored by INSPRA

Last week, Kane County ROE staff attended the annual Distinguished Service Celebration, held by the Illinois Chapter of the National School Public Relations Association. As a communications-centered organization, INSPRA created these awards to recognize individuals and groups that partner with communications offices to serve as ambassadors for public education and champions of students and staff.

Our own Patricia Dal Santo was honored in the Administrator category for her impactful work in leading the ROE in its service to Kane County. The event was made even more special thanks to current INSPRA President-Elect, Anna Gonzales of West Aurora 129, hosting the celebration. Thank you for a wonderful morning and congratulations to Patricia on this honor!
