In the midst of much of Kane County's return from spring break, the period of April 7-11 is recognized as National Assistant Principals Week. These building leaders are a crucial connection between teachers, fellow administrators, students, and families. Whether it's addressing concerns with parents/guardians, leading building-wide events, or filling in when classrooms are in need, there is no shortage of roles that assistant principals occupy. We commend you and appreciate your ever-present leadership in our schools!
At the ROE, we aim to provide professional learning experiences that can make a meaningful impact on classroom practices while empowering educators with strategies and ideas that allow them to guide their students to success. Our team has been entrenched in creating and delivering this type of content with input from our networking group members that represent the very districts we serve.
While this content takes many forms, much of it is offered through the Illinois Online Academy. Click below to see our team walk through the work that goes into shaping this near-decade-old platform. As we enter the final months of the school year, we hope some offerings in this catalog or included in this newsletter will benefit your professional learning journey.
