State Celebrates Schools During School Recognition Week

Schools in Washington stand out for closing gaps, showing growth, and demonstrating achievement according to new data released by the state. Washington school recognition has been re-imagined to honor schools that have received support and are thriving, and to highlight positive school systems changes happening all over the state. This year, 391 schools are being recognized.

Reminder: Emergency Waiver Program

SBE held a special Board Meeting April 8 to review and adopt emergency rules regarding graduation requirements for the Class of 2020. The Emergency Waiver Program was approved.
