A One of a Kind Knife - Auction

Palatka native Mike Stallings (pictured below), an avid St. Johns River diver for over 50 years, has begun creating knife handles from Mammoth and Mastodon teeth. His years of volunteering with the University of Florida Museum have helped preserve Florida’s prehistoric past, including identifying 37 prehistoric species and donating countless fossils to aid graduate research.

Mike has been a generous supporter of Feed the Need, and this year he has outdone himself. He has donated not just a knife, but a piece of prehistoric history with a story to tell.

Early bids are being accepted through September 27 at noon.

The opening bid is $1,250. Please call Denise Bramlitt 386-937-3862 for details and to place your bid!
