Dear Friends,
Last week New York City welcomed Book Expo America, the annual national convention of book publishers and booksellers and the nation's largest book show. For countless authors, artists, editors, booksellers, and others in the book business it is always one of the most exciting weeks of the year. And while all this excitement was taking place at the Jacob K. Javits Center, Books of Wonder was busy hosting events nearly every day with the scores of wonderful authors and artists who were visiting NYC from around the globe. Though BEA may be over, we have lots of photos to share with you from our 5 great events last week. And you can still order signed copies for you and your favorite readers of all the books that were featured at these events.

Books of Wonder is thrilled to be partnering with NYC's P.S. 116 where we will mix together one proton of fun, an electron of learning, and a Sunday afternoon your young scientists will not want to miss. Join us as we welcome award-winning author and artist BRUCE DEGEN and the students and teachers of NYC's P.S. 116 for an Interactive Science Fair (open to all!). Beginning at 2pm, BRUCE DEGEN will share some of his wonderful books, lead a powerpoint presentation about the beloved Magic School Bus books, and sign all his wonderful work for all his young fans. There will also be various stations where your young scientists can explore animal adaptive behavior, electrical circuits, and identify what's in the mystery box. A portion of the proceeds from this afternoon of fun will be donated to the science program at P.S. 116, but young scientists from anywhere and everywhere are welcome! Ages 5-12. Sunday, June 8th, 2-4pm.

We have more events coming up this month and throughout the summer, so stay tuned, visit our events page, or stop by the store for an update on what other exciting authors, artists, books, and special events we have coming your way!
And don't forget, you can always order signed books from any of our events either online or by calling us at 800-207-6968 -- or just by stopping by the store!
Best Wishes,
