Mentors and Guest Speakers Are Needed in All Science Outreach Departments
|
Mentoring and Guest Speakers Needed
A local high school has a three-year research program that students apply to participate in during their sophomore year. The first year of the program is devoted to building research skills, in the second and third years, each student must complete a research project in a field of their choosing. These research students need mentors.
The research program is also looking for guest speakers to present their research to the class. This is an excellent opportunity for you to share your science with interested high school students. Please sign up to indicate your interest in volunteering to mentor a high school research student or share your science during an upcoming research class talk. All Science Outreach disciplines are needed. Please indicate your interest to participate by February 1, 2023.
