Understanding the biomechanics of the PSOAS is critical when trying to understand the CAUSE of chronic human body malfunction. This course will present:

Basic motor skill/neurology science

Basic mechanical function of the PSOAS

Basic assessment techniques for PSOAS

Exercise protocol for PSOAS function/restoration

Self-Release Techniques

For years, many alternative health practices have understood the role of the PSOAS in relation to excessive stress, adrenaline secretion, and emotional crisis. This course will bridge the gap between how the brain's "fight or flight" response creates musculoskeletal pathology. The PSOAS can be the root of:

Chronic Sacral Iliac pain (SI joint/sciatica)

Disc degeneration

Chronic mid-back, neck and shoulder tension

Respiratory conditions

Osteoarthritis in the knees and hips

Osteoporosis

Waist larger than the hips

and the list goes on...
