Scottsdale contributes to strong year for Arizona economic development

Arizona economic development efforts reached great heights this year. In fiscal year 2025, the Arizona Commerce Authority, alongside communities like Scottsdale, partnered with companies that committed to creating 24,285 new jobs statewide, with an average wage of $95,928. Both figures mark record-setting milestones for Arizona’s economic development efforts.


Major expansion wins spanned the state, alongside key semiconductor, energy, healthcare, and manufacturing projects. These results reflect the strength of Arizona’s collaborative approach, and Scottsdale’s continued role in driving high-impact economic growth.

Arbor Old Town brings Class A office space to the heart of Scottsdale

George Oliver is redeveloping three legacy office buildings into Arbor Old Town, a 360,000 sq ft, hospitality-driven campus spanning six acres. Located at Scottsdale and Indian School roads, the campus will offer best-in-class amenities, including:

  • The Garden: a landscaped central courtyard
  • The Sprig: a café serving food, coffee and cocktails
  • The Botanist at Arbor: lobby café/bar
  • Wellness center: spa, locker rooms, cold plunge, sauna, yoga/meditation rooms
  • Collaboration facilities: a 160‑person training room, podcast studio, boardrooms
  • Game lounge: billiards, digital darts, and a Trackman golf simulator
  • On‑site concierge services for tenant events and support

Renovations at 4141 N. Scottsdale Rd. are already underway, with move-in-ready spec suites launching Q4 2025 and full campus completion expected in Q3 2026.

Scottsdale becomes fastest-growing U.S. city for millionaire residents

A recent USA Wealth Report reveals Scottsdale’s millionaire population surged by an impressive 125% between 2014 and 2024, making it the fastest‑growing millionaire hub in the U.S.


As of December 2024, the city is home to roughly 14,800 millionaires, including 64 centi-millionaires and five billionaires.


This growth underscores Scottsdale’s continued appeal as a destination for high-net-worth individuals, reflecting the city’s strong economic fundamentals, high quality of life, and expanding opportunities for investment and innovation.
