Dear Friends of Mount Zion and Scottsville:
We, your pastors and staff, send our greetings for the Christmas Season and the coming year.
The message that we proclaim is this: Christ is the incarnate word of God, made flesh. The Savior of the world. He came that all may have life and enjoy it more abundantly. He came to fulfill the will of God, to glorify God, and to offer to us all the way, the truth, the light. May this season give light, truth, and direction for our God-given task as well: to be the person God has HOPE in; to be God’s JOY; purveyors of God’s PEACE; and instruments of God’s LOVE for/to all 7.8-billion people on God’s celestial sphere. Glorify God! Be about the work of Christmas all year long.
May the blessings of Christ be with you all, now and always.
Grace and peace,
Pastors Tom Frost, Roger & Debbie Powell
and Church Administrator Staci Hainsworth
PS: Two reminders. First, we will be receiving a special Mission Offering for Christmas that will be used for the Bread of Life Ministry in Scottsville. Second, we will be offering a special Christmas Eve Service on December 24th at 7:00 pm. This year, you can participate either on-line or drive-in. If you come to the drive-in service, please bring a flashlight or glow stick to use in your cars as we sing “Silent Night.” We hope you will join us as we “adore him, Christ the Lord.”
