Believe Learn and Seek Truth
“But ask the animals, and they will teach you, or the birds in the sky, and they will tell you;... Which of all these does not know that the hand of the Lord has done this?" ~Job 12: 7, 9

Mount Zion and Scottsville United Methodist Churches are excited to host our first BLAST event for families. Your family is invited to join us on June 12th, from 9am-12pm for a birdhouse building workshop in the parking lot at Scottsville United Methodist Church at 158 E. Main Street, Scottsville, VA. This is a drop-in event so you can stop by anytime between 9am-12pm but make sure you have enough time to complete your birdhouse before 12pm.

All ages are welcome 0-18 and children must be accompanied by an adult.

All supplies will be provided to build and paint bluebird houses. You may choose to make one birdhouse as a family or let each child build their own but please complete the registration form to help us prepare enough materials.

We hope to offer more events in the future so look for our next event this Fall!
Hammers & Pinecones are Needed
We need to borrow 15-20 hammers along with pinecones for the BLAST event. If you are willing to share yours, please put your name on the handle and leave it in the church office. They will be returned to the office for you to pick up after the event. Thank you!
