School is back in session and new Scouts are joining Packs across Metro-Atlanta. We have plenty of activities for the new families joining your Pack, Troop or Crew this fall. From Scout Day with the Braves to Spooky-Ree there's something exciting for every Scout to do in September.
Spooky-Ree Family Camping Weekends -- October 2018
Spooky-ree is a fall themed weekend filled with a fall festival, creepy-crawly nature show, pumpkin decorating, archery, BBs, s'mores, and a campfire. The highlight of the weekend is the Trick-or-Treating Trail for all Scouts and an extra spooky haunted trail for the older Scouts and adults.

Bring out the whole family: Cub Scouts, big brothers and sisters, little brothers and sisters, cousins, etc. Everyone is welcome to come out to camp and enjoy the beautiful fall weather at Bert Adams!
Winter Camp -- December 27-31, 2018
The Atlanta Area Council is proud to offer Winter Camp at Bert Adams Scout Camp for Boy Scout Troops and Venturing Crews. For 5 days and 4 nights in December, Boy Scouts and Venturers will have the opportunity to camp and play at one of America's premier camps.

Our winter camp will introduce unique programs and merit badges that are not available at either of our summer camps. We've pulled together the best of our summer camp staffs for an all-star leadership team. Scouts can attend as a Troop or Crew, patrol, or as an individual provisional Scout.
Merit Badge University is a quality Merit Badge program that helps Scouts learn about different fields of knowledge. By recruiting experienced professional counselors, Scouts receive an unparalleled experience. It’s hosted on the beautiful Kennesaw State University Marietta campus, giving Scouts a great opportunity to experience a college atmosphere.

The $15 registration fee includes breakfast as well as program materials for most classes with only a few exceptions. Classes will include Emergency Preparedness, Citizenship in the Nation, Communication and much more!

Space in some classes is limited, so sign up today!
