Scout Shop New Items: New t-shirts just arrived in stock at our Long Beach Scout Shop. We have 5 new styles in adult sizes S-XXL. We also have pinewood derby kits while supplies last. Click the red button for info on Scout Shop items.
THIS Saturday, February 5 - We are asking that all unit leaders, committee chairs, and den leaders attend this gathering to hear the state of our council for 2022. Read more and RSVP here. We will have a mobile LiveScan to get your fingerprints done onsite this Saturday!
Camp Tahquitz is ready to serve your troop this summer! We still have availability all weeks: 7/10/22-8/6/22. See more. Get your deposit in and reserve your favorite campsite. By attending Tahquitz you're helping to support our local council.
Tuesday, February 8 from Noon to 6pm - Donate Blood! Blood shortages are real. With Valentine's Day coming, thinking with your heart doesn't only mean flowers and chocolate. Come help by giving blood.
Each February we ask our Scouts to pause and pay extra attention to the Scout law's finishing touch: reverent. Through the celebrations known as Scout Sunday, Scout Sabbath and Scout Jumuah, Scouts take a moment to reflect on their faith.
Next Saturday, February 12 - It's derby clinic time! We will have the tools to help you build your dream car. See details here. You bring your block of wood and we will bring the saws. See you soon!
As you gather your tax documents, keep an eye out in the mail for contribution statements we mailed to people who gave donations to support us in 2021. Read what Scouting expenses you can deduct.
NEW STATE LAW: Fingerprint forms are now available! To comply with the new state law AB 506, please take form BCIA 8016 to a LiveScan facility at your earliest convenience. Please help spread the word to all parents and Scout leaders you know.
