Horse Rides at Tahquitz: Enjoy a relaxing 90-minute guided trail ride around picturesque Camp Tahquitz. Available by reservation every Saturday in July. Trail rides are $40 per person (must be over 7 yrs old). Work on horsemanship merit badge too. Click the red button for dates, guidelines, and more.
Our camps are open this summer! Have you signed up yet? Check camp options here. Our Sea Base Aquatics Camp is one of the most popular summer options with lots of fun on the water. Camp Tahquitz is also open for week-long summer camp.
Registration fees for youth and adults for 2022 are now available. See fee schedule here. Keep in mind this does not apply to current members until 2022. This does apply to new members starting August 1. There is also a helpful calculator posted.
Our Sea Scouts recently conducted the flag ceremony for Opening Day at the Long Beach Yacht Club. See photos here. They did a commendable job and many were impressed. Way to go, Sea Scouts!
We want to shoutout Pack 134 for their recent purchases in our Scout Shop! As things open up, their Scouts have been super active earning awards! Shopping local also supports our council to keep Scouting thriving here in our community.

Great news! Scouts coming up to Camp Tahquitz this summer can now choose merit badges as individuals not cohorts (patrols)! This gives Scouts many more choices in selecting what badges they want to earn. Read more here.

We have a third update from Eagle Scout Nolan Ridgeway hiking the Pacific Crest Trail. Noland writes: "I just crossed 1,100 miles, over 1/3 of the trail - and I am still in California... and hiked off the PCT trail to summit Mt. Whitney. Thank you for all of your continued support!" Read more.
