Re-charter Pickup Tonight 10/12 at 7pm: Sandy Van Wyk will be leading an info session for every pack, troop, team, ship, and crew in the council. Please send your unit's rep to pick up your charter renewal for 2018. Location: 3114 South St. Lakewood 90712. Time: 7pm

Last Saturday, Long Beach Search and Rescue Explorer Post 279 held their annual open house. See action photos here. More than 25 Explorers participated in hands-on, real-world scenarios.
Cub BOO Ree 2016
Last Chance! Cub-BOO-Ree

The deadline for Cub-BOO-Ree registration is this Saturday 10/14 at midnight. RSVP here. This fun event includes canoeing, costume contest, haunted house, trunk or treating, AND a movie night. Super fun camping weekend October 20-22.
Training Dates 10/14 and 12/3

Training classes to be held this Saturday. According to records, many den leaders are not trained. Please check with your leaders. Check this page and RSVP to be trained. Additional date coming December 3 from 1-4pm.
Polaris 80s Night

Saturday, October 27 - Dance the night away at the Polaris District 80s Night at the Gaslamp. Info here. Lots of fun: costume contest, an 80s cover band, food and drink. Spouses, family, and friends welcome.

Popcorn Orders Due

Last day to submit popcorn order forms is this coming Monday 10/16 at midnight. Fill out those order forms and ask your neighbors, friends, and family. Orders placed by Monday will be available Fri, Nov 3.
