Scout News: December 6
Scouts BSA Rollout: Next week on Thursday, 12/13 we will host a roundtable discussion on the new Scouts BSA program. Introduction will be led by Scout Executive John Fullerton followed by discussion and Q/A. Location: 3114 South St 90712 at 7pm. Click green button for more info.
Membership Growth This Fall

Congratulations to Pack 88, Pack 117, Pack 134, and Pack 371 for earning a pizza party! Each of those Packs grew by more than 10 youth this fall season and completed their charter renewal by last Friday 11/30.   
Scout Appears in LB Biz Journal

Two days ago, our local archery star was highlighted in the Long Beach Business Journal. Read Andrew's story on pg 2. Andrew recently represented Team USA in Italy and came home ranked the top archer in the US.  
Tribe Christmas Pow Wow

On December 15, the Tribe of Tahquitz will be having their annual Christmas Powwow! Doors open at 4:30 pm and Grand Entry will start at 6:00 pm. Come for the dancing, silent auction, and bring a toy for the toy drive!

Eagle Scout National Directory

The National Eagle Scout Association recently launched a comprehensive Eagle Scout data verification project. All Eagle Scouts (all ages!) are invited to call 1-866-571-4582 to verify their information to be included in this directory. This is a legitimate project, not spam. 
Scout Shop Holiday Hours

The Long Beach Scout Shop will be open two more weeks. Last day for purchases in 2018 will be Saturday, 12/22. Normal hours for the next two weeks. The office will be open 12/26-12/28 and 12/31. 
Position Specific Training Update

National BSA has informed us that position-specific training courses are being updated and will be available January 2, 2019. We encourage anyone who is in process with their training to complete it 12/31. Any current progress will not carry over to 2019.
