Wow! This past Saturday, our very own Venturer Alexandra Giese of Crew 181 was recognized as the 2019 YMCA Gymnastics All-Around National Champion at championship meet in Wisconsin Dells, WI. Congrats!

Now in the Scout Shop: the fun and exciting Yo-Yo Preview Adventure sponsored by Duncan Toys. This preview adventure gives Wolf, Bear, and Webelos Scouts the opportunity to learn the concepts that make a yo-yo work and the basic physics of a pendulum. Read more.

go kayaking, practice paddleboarding, sail, or take speed boat rides led by our trained lifeguards. A fantastic way for families to spend a day or two at the Sea Base this summer.
Through animated videos developed specifically for younger ages, the BSA just announced a partnership that will introduce the "
Protect Yourself Rules" program to more than 1.2 million Cub Scouts nationwide. This program aims to further the efforts to keep children safe.
Heads up: a special 3 day training class is coming this Fall. This training is for anyone (age 16+) wishing to become a COPE or Climbing Instructor. See dates here. Participants must attend all training sessions. Learn how to lead your group of Scouts in climbing.
August 16-18 - Calling all youth just finishing 3rd and 4th grade. This annual event for new Webelos 1 and II is the premier campout of the year. More info here. Explore the outdoors at Camp Tahquitz. Always sells out!
