This Weekend: Golf to support our local Sea Scouts.
This Saturday, 9/29 is the annual 7-Iron Golf Tourney. Registration at 9:15 am and shotgun start at 10:00 am sharp. Best ball format, play in teams of five. Click red button for more info.
Many packs are hosting joining nights. This is the time of year we welcome new families into Scouting! Submit photos of your banners or recruitment booth. Email Marc. Let's see those banners, posters, and signs.
Scouting's Journey to Excellence is the BSA's planning, performance, and recognition program designed to encourage excellence in each unit. Submit this scorecard by December to qualify. Updated annually.
Important notice: only a few days remain! All registered adults must complete the NEW YPT training before October 1. Remember to take this training. This is required by National BSA. Any prior YPT expires at the end of this month September 30.
This coming Monday, we will email access codes to all unit leaders and committee chairs. This will allow leaders to view and edit current unit rosters. Changes for 2019 are due by November 30. Guidelines here.

Now through October 31, Eagle Scouts can earn a college scholarship! The National Eagle Scout Association will award nearly $700,000 in scholarships to more than 150 Eagle Scouts. Apply here.
Nominations are open now through October 31. The Silver Beaver Award is the highest recognition a council can bestow on a volunteer. See prior recipients. Nominations come from fellow volunteers like you.
