Scout News: April 30
NEW! ScoutBook University: Parents and adults, you'll want to save this date: Wednesday May 13 at 6pm. The creators of BSA's online WebApp called ScoutBook will teach you how to use it and cover recent updates. It's free to attend and free to use. ScoutBook tracks advancement, communications, camping nights, service hours, awards, schedules, and a lot more. Click red button to see more information.

This Saturday, May 2 - Join Scouts across the nation in friendly competitions and campfire singalongs. This virtual event across the entire country will bring Scouting to life with activities all can enjoy from their living room or backyard. Open to everyone!

Tomorrow, May 1 at 7pm - We will host our third virtual online roundtable via Zoom. Click here for call-in information. Tune in via video or phone to get some helpful hints on a variety of subjects including Scoutbook, advancements, and activities.

Fun game: how much do you know about Scouting ranks and LBAC camps? Play this 7-question game with your Scout at home on any device. First 50 players will appear on a leaderboard to see who gets the highest score! Be sure to enter your name and unit.

A few days ago, National BSA President/CEO Roger Mosby released a message by video to all Scouts and Scouting families. See video here. We can all be proud of what Scouts are doing at home during these challenging times.

Did you catch our video two days ago on how to make a jewelry box for mom? Watch it here. And check the schedule for this coming week: Monday we will have a science video and Wednesday will be all about patches! Also be on the lookout for merit badge classes.

We have posted new resources for you and your Scout to continue earning advancements at home. There are videos, meeting plans, activities, and more. We are offering merit badges, and fun hands-on lessons multiple times per week. Check this page regularly.

Would you give a charitable donation to help us through these trying times? We humbly ask for your support to keep Scouting going locally. With very little camp revenue or Scout Shop sales, we could really use your help. Please give online or send a check.
