Scout News: July 9 
Active Scouts, Advancements, Badges: As your Scout earns badges this summer, remember that  our Long Beach Scout Shop is open for in-person service Monday-Friday from 1pm - 5pm. We are also open 9am - 5pm every weekday for curbside pickup. Easy to do, pay by phone, and quick pickup. Click red button for info.
Council-Wide Zoom Update Call

Tuesday, July 14 at 7pm - we will host a council-wide update via Zoom. All parents and Scout leaders are invited to call in. Let us know what you'd like us to cover by submitting your question here. Call info will be posted on our webpage here on Sunday night.
NEW! Cub Scout Aquatics Camp

Starts this Monday, July 13 we will be offering Cub Summer Aquatics Full Day Camp. RSVP today so we know you're coming. Activities include kayaking, canoeing, sailing, motorboating, whale watching, sports, advancement, arts & crafts, and more.
Your Family Can Camp at Tahquitz

Every day during July, you can reserve your own family  campground at Tahquitz. Set up your own tent, bring your food, camp overnight, go hiking, and enjoy the fresh mountain air. Choose your nights, let us know how many people are coming, and you're all set.
Earn Badges at the Sea Base

Earn aquatics merit badges in person at the Sea Base or log in online to earn badges on Zoom.  See info and RSVP. Canoeing, rowing, kayaking, small-boat sailing, swimming, and fishing. Tons of fun for Scouts 11-17. Runs weekly through August 14.

Saturday Canoe/Kayak Rentals 

Canoes and kayaks are still available at the Long Beach Sea Base every Saturday in July. Reserve yours here. Enjoy the water and some much needed fun in the sun. Two hour blocks to explore Alamitos Bay. Participants must be from the same household. 
PHOTOS: Cub STEM Day Camp

Cub Scouts have had a blast this week. The STEM Camp has featured paper airplanes, robotics, songs, skits, and crafts of all kinds. See photos here. A big thank you to Dolcey, Suzanne, and the entire team of volunteers who organized so much fun for Scouts.
