Scout News: June 11
Long Beach Scouting Live: Tune in tomorrow, Friday June 12 for another super cool art-drawing tutorial on our Facebook Live page. The previous Memorial Day art project was a big hit! Join us for a robotics art project at 5pm.  Click red button to watch on Facebook.

Canoes and kayaks are now available at the Long Beach Sea Base! Selling out very fast. Reserve yours here. Enjoy the water and get some much needed fun in the sun. Two hour blocks to explore Alamitos Bay. Participants must be from the same household.

Reserve your family campground at Tahquitz. You and your family can set up your own tent, bring your own food, camp overnight, go hiking, and enjoy the fresh mountain air. Choose your nights, let us know how many people are coming, and you're all set to go.

Sign up for merit badges and lots of fun with our virutal Sea Base camp! Two weeks to choose from June 15-19 and 22-26. See themes and badges here. The usual Sea Base fun, in a slightly different format. Monday and Friday rallies. For all ages 6-17 and ranks in Scouting.

Registration is open! We have just updated day camp info to our website. This year our aim is to introduce STEM programming into our Cub Day Camp experience. Youths will earn requirements as they participate and work on hands-on projects at home.

We are very close to opening our Long Beach Scout Shop for in-person purchases. For the next few days, remember we are open for super easy curbside service. Read how it works. Call or email Sandy, pay over the phone, and arrange a pick up. More info coming soon.

Next Saturday, June 20 at 8am - Cub Scout Leader training online. A really good opportunity for all cub leaders and cub scout parents to learn more about their roles and resources. Perfect for den leaders, assistants, cubmasters, committee chairs. Please RSVP!

You might soon receive a notification as part of the regular process of National BSA's ongoing bankruptcy case. This notification process is to ensure that the BSA reaches as many potential claimants as possible. To be clear, receiving a notice does not mean that you have a claim or that your child was harmed while in Scouting. Please read this full letter.
