Massive Recruitment Campaign is Around the Corner! Taking advantage of historic new state legislation allowing Scouting to promote its programs in schools, our staff has been reaching out to administrators to schedule in-school presentations in August and September to promote unit sign-up nights and community-wide events throughout our 19 counties. The council is also picking-up the $25 BSA Joining Fee for every new Scout that joins between August 1 and December 15th.
