Important to note:
  • New Adventure Application Form to replace the Camping and Outdoor Activity Application (COAA).
  • Adventure Application Forms should be submitted through ScoutsTracker or to [email protected].
  • Chinook Council Calendar of events and training
  • All groups must submit an annual financial statement together with group inventory (Quartermaster) report to the Council by November 30, 2019 for the 2018-19 Scouting year. Prior to submission, the financial statement will have been subject to an impartial third party review by two individuals who have not been involved in the group financial accounting and reporting. Questions or concerns can be directed to 403-283-4993 x 243 or [email protected]. Send both reports to [email protected].
  • Requests for a Certificate of Insurance (COI) must be sent to [email protected]. Verify the COI needed: generic or where the other organization is specifically named on the COI. Send a copy of the agreement with your request if the COI needs to be specifically named.
Please read to understand the new Adventure Standards and contact your Scouting Relationship Manager (SRM) or Group Support Scouter (GSS) if you have any questions.
Update to third party waivers, indemnification and hold harmless agreements
Per the Fall Edition of The Woggle , parents are now able to sign third-party waivers on behalf of themselves and their youth. This means more exciting adventures are open to groups!
