2020 Journey to Excellence Updates
Due to COVID-19, JTE scoring will be adjusted for 2020. JTE is an evaluation tool, designed by volunteers, that helps Adult Leaders see how well their unit is meeting the goals of Scouting. If you would like to provide suggestions on adjustments, please email jte@scouting.org

Virtual Trivia Night & Silent Auction
Join us for our 1st-ever Virtual Trivia Night & Silent Auction, Wednesday, May 20th from 6-8pm.

$15 per player. Will be done through Kahoot. 10 rounds, 100 questions. Bring your A game. Prizes for the top places! Register and download the Kahoot App (available for both iOS & Android) below!

Online Merit Badge Opportunities

The list of online merit badges offered is updated every Friday at 4 pm Central Time. Classes will be taught through  Zoom . There is no cost for Scouts to register. To assure quality instruction, classes will have limited capacity. Once registered, Scouts will receive login information no less than 24 hours before the start of the class.

All counselors are registered members of the BSA and have completed Youth Protection Training. Two deep leadership will be enforced in all online merit badge classes. Additionally, parents are encouraged to sit alongside their Scouts for the duration of the class(es).

Cub Scouts
Register for Day Camp 2020!
It is the last week to get the early-bird fee for the Columbia, La Plata, & Centralia Day Camps! Register by May 15th to get the early-bird fee.

Sedalia, Lake of the Ozark Scout Reservation, & Jefferson City Day Camp early-bird fee deadline is June 1st.

Day Camp is still on for summer 2020. This year's theme is "Down on the Farm". So get ready for some unique, farm-themed activities! Other activities may include archery, bb guns, bottle rockets, woodworking, & more! Day Camp is one of the best ways to prepare Cub Scouts for Camping and Life!

*We continue to monitor COVID-19 guidance and may adjust schedules and activities accordingly. If we have to adjust schedules due to COVID-19 changes, we will offer full refunds to affected participants, so PLEASE register soon without that concern. Early registration helps us to make sure we are prepared for EVERYONE.
NOVA Award Workshops
Register for our NOVA Award Workshops through Zoom. NOVA is the STEM (Science, Tech, Engineering, & Math) wing of the BSA. There is a cost of $5 per cub to cover instruction, patches, & shipping. Class sizes will be limited to ensure quality instruction.
